Bengaluru: The residents of the city have been enjoying cool weather over the past few days. The city is set to experience heavy rainfall on July 28, 2025. Cloudy skies are also expected in the city which is expected to remain the same throughout the day.

The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06: 48 PM. The weather department said that rain and cloudy skies will keep the temperatures mild and pleasant in the city.

Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Scattered to moderate rains are likely in coastal & hilly districts of the state, heavy to very heavy rains at scattered places, rainfall activity is likely to reduce after July 29. Scattered normal rain in interior districts."

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the rainfall is likely to be accompanied by strong surface winds, thunderstorms, and lightning. Scattered heavy rainfall is predicted in isolated regions of the state. The rainfall is likely to be accompanied by gusty winds. An orange alert has been issued in coastal areas and South Interior Karnataka. A yellow alert has been issued in North Interior Karnataka.
