'26 Ka Badla 2,600 Se Lenge...': Man Claims Responsibility For Killing Muslim Man In Agra; Police Say Probe Underway (VIDEO)

Agra: A video of a man claiming responsibility of the Killing of a young Muslim man, who was shot dead near a restaurant located on Shilpgram Road in Tajganj police station area has emerged. The man in the video identifies himself as a member of 'Kshatriya Gauraksha Dal' and can be heard claiming responsibility for the killing.

"Bharat Mata ki saugandh, 26 ka badla agar 2,600 se na liya toh mei Bharat Mata ka putr nahi, Jai shri Ram, Jai Hindu Rashtra, Bharat Mata ki Jai" the man can be heard saying. The two men can be seen in the video with knives and a pistol tucked inside their waist.

Police Reaction

Reacting to the viral video, Agra police said, "Regarding the viral video on social media, it is to be informed that no organization named Kshatriya Gau Raksha Dal is working in Agra."

The police also said, "In this case, an FIR has been registered immediately by the Tajganj police station. The three companions of the deceased who were present there at the time of the incident have not told any such thing to the family or the police team."

The police further said, "Therefore, do not spread any such news on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any social media platform which is false. Police teams are investigating. The body of the deceased has been buried after post-mortem, several police teams have been deployed to search for the accused, soon the accused will be arrested and necessary legal action will be taken."

On Wednesday night, a young Muslim man was shot dead near a restaurant located on Shilpgram Road in Tajganj police station area. During the incident, another young man was also hit by bullet pellets, who was admitted for treatment. After the murder, the attackers fled from there brandishing a pistol. The deceased has been identified as Gulfam and he worked at a biryani restaurant.

Police reached the spot after getting information and are investigating the matter. CCTV footage installed in the surrounding areas is being scanned. Police teams are searching for the killers.

How The Incident Unfolded?

On Wednesday night, preparations were underway to close the restaurant for the day. Gulfam was standing outside the restaurant with his friends, when three youths arrived on a scooter.

The youths parked their scooter a little ahead of the restaurant and came to Gulfam. After this, one of the youths shot Gulfam, due to which he fell on the ground and died on the spot. The miscreants also shot another youth Saif Ali, who worked in the restaurant, but he survived. Some bullet pellets hit him.

After firing, the youth ran away brandishing pistol. Gulfam was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.Gulfam was married and has three children.
