Yuzvendra Chahal Hides Face With Mask, Hoodie As He Reaches Bandra Court For Divorce With Dhanashree Verma (VIDEO)

Team India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and estranged wife Dhanashree Verma were spotted entering the Bandra Family Court on Thursday morning for the final hearing of their divorce. The two have been living separately for quite some time now, and the final verdict in the divorce case will be announced today (March 20).

Chahal was spotted outside the Bandra Family Court on Thursday accompanied by his counsel. He hid his face with a mask and covered himself completely with a hoodie to avoid any unnecessary attention, but the paps were quick to recognise him the moment he was about to enter the court.

Dhanashree was seen reaching the court a few minutes later with her face covered with a mask. She refused to interact with the media and quickly made her way inside the court.

Several reports claimed that Chahal and Dhanashree had been living separately since June 2022, however, their social media posts had a different story to tell. They were seen posting photos together and for each other until a few months before the reports of their divorce surfaced online.

Meanwhile, new reports claimed that Chahal will be paying an alimony of Rs 4.75 crore to Dhanashree upon their divorce. Out of the total money, the cricketer has reportedly already paid Rs 2.37 crore.

While Chahal and Dhanashree are yet to issue an official statement on their divorce, earlier this year, the latter had penned a note slamming all the hate that she received ever since the news of their separation broke out. "I've worked hard for years to build my name and integrity. My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others. I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. The truth stands tall without the need for justification," she wrote.

Amid Chahal and Dhanashree's divorce row, the cricketer was spotted several times with RJ Mahvash, which fuelled rumours of the two dating. While Mahvash categorically denied the dating rumours, she fuelled them herself when she posted a picture of attending the Champions Trophy final with Chahal in Dubai.
