YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia & GF Saved By IPS Officer's Family From Drowning At Goa Beach: 'We Got Swept Away By Underwater Current'

Popular YouTuber and motivational speaker Ranveer Allahbadia, better known as “Beer Biceps,” shared a harrowing near-death experience on Instagram on Wednesday about how he and his rumoured girlfriend, actress Nikki Sharma, were swept away by a powerful underwater current at a beach in Goa.   

The incident occurred on Christmas Eve around 6:00 PM during what began as a casual swim in the open ocean. Ranveer, who has been swimming in the ocean since childhood, revealed that the current overpowered them, leaving the pair struggling to stay afloat.  

“This has happened to me before, but I’ve never been alongside a companion,” Ranveer wrote. “It’s easy to swim out of one alone. It’s very hard to pull someone out with you.”  

As the situation worsened, the couple signalled for help and were rescued by a family of five, including an IPS officer and his IRS officer wife, who were swimming nearby.  

Ranveer described the ordeal, saying, “There was a point during the ordeal where I swallowed a lot of water and started fading away a little bit. That’s when I decided to shout for help.”  

The YouTuber expressed gratitude to their rescuers, calling the experience life-changing. “We felt the protection of God throughout the incident. Almost feel like this one life experience has changed my perspective towards living.”  

Rumours of Ranveer and Nikki’s relationship have been swirling since earlier this year, with fans speculating after several Instagram posts hinted at their connection. While Ranveer did not explicitly mention Nikki by name in his emotional post, previous reports have linked her to his trips and spiritual pursuits. 

Nikki Sharma, known for her roles in popular television shows like Sasural Simar Ka and Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya Shiv Shakti, has reportedly shared a deep spiritual bond with Ranveer. 

The YouTuber concluded his message with a heartfelt note of gratitude for life and a prayer for the future. “We lived for a reason! Merry Christmas to you all and to your families. Thank you, God, for life!”
