Who Is Shine Tom Chacko, Actor Accused Of Misbehaving With Actress Vincy Aloshious Under Influence Of Drugs?

A couple of days ago, actress Vincy Aloshious, opened up about how a lead actor of one of her movies misbehaved with her on the sets under the influence of drugs. While she had not revealed the name at that time, now, according to a report in PTI, the actress has filed a complaint with the Kerala Film Chamber against actor Shine Tom Chacko. She has accused him of inappropriate behaviour on the sets of the upcoming film Soothravakyam.

Meanwhile, a video of Shine Tom Chacko fleeing from a Kochi hotel has gone viral on social media. According to Manorama Online, the anti-narcotics squad conducted a raid at the hotel at around 11 pm on Wednesday. The Dasara actor managed to escape from the hotel. According to the report, no drugs or other narcotic substances were recovered from there.

Who Is Shine Tom Chacko?

Shine Tom Chacko is a 41-year-old actor who has worked in many Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films. He started his career as an assistant director and made his acting debut in the 2011 release Gaddama. He has played supporting roles in many famous movies, including Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Chapters, Annayum Rasoolum,Masala Republic, Jigarthanda DoubleX, Dasara, Beast, and Devara.

This year, he was seen in movies like Daaku Maharaaj, Robinhood, and recently released film Good Bad Ugly. For his negative performance in movies like Ishq and Dasara, the actor won awards as well.

Shine Tom Chacko Drug Controversy

In 2015, the actor was arrested in Kochi for allegedly possessing narcotics. A case was registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act. But, later he was granted bail by the High Court of Kerala. In February this year, the Daaku Maharaaj actor was acquitted by the court from all the charges.

While reportedly Vincy has failed a formal complaint against him, the actor has no yet shared any statement regarding the same.
