Actor Ranveer Singh will be seen romancing Sara Arjun in the upcoming film, Dhurandhar, the first look of which was unveiled on Sunday. While Ranveer turned 40 on Sunday, Sara is aged 20, and their jarring age difference of 20 years has been making headlines. Dhurandhar will release in theatres on December 5.
The first look of Ranveer Singh's highly-anticipated film, Dhurandhar, was unveiled by the makers on the actor's 40th birthday, and within no time, it exploded on social media, sending Bollywood lovers into a tizzy. While the promo unveiled Ranveer's menacing avatar, it also introduced actress Sara Arjun as his love interest in the film.
The first look video showed only a few glimpses of Sara, and most of them were her romantic scenes with Ranveer. She can be seen looking unrecognisable in loose curls and a modern look, and netizens are already raving about her chemistry with Ranveer.
Age gap between Ranveer and Sara
However, netizens also pointed out the jarring age difference between Ranveer and Sara. Ranveer turned 40 on July 6, Sunday. On the other hand, Sara, who was born on June 18, 2005, is currently aged 20.
Thus, there is a massive age difference of 20 years between Sara and Ranveer, and netizens called it "uncomfortable".
Both Sara and Ranveer are yet to react to the chatter around their age difference.

Dhurandhar is directed by Uri fame, Aditya Dhar, and it is said to be based on "incredibly true events". While not much has been revealed about the true event in question, the film is touted to tell the tale of "unknown men and their unstoppable fight".
Dhurandhar also stars R Madhavan, and he is reportedly set to play the role of National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, who is also known as the James Bond of India.
Besides, the film features Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal in key roles. Dhurandhar is set to hit the silver screens on December 5, 2025.
