'War 2 Takes Over The Proceedings': Makers Of Jr NTR-Prashanth Neel Film Postpone The First Glimpse Release Of Their Movie

On Friday (May 16, 2025), it was revealed that the first asset of War 2 will be out on Jr NTR's birthday, May 20, 2025. Hrithik Roshan had shared about it on social media. While it is not yet known whether it will be a teaser or a poster, fans are super excited about it. Meanwhile, the makers of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel's movie were also planning to release the first glimpse of their film on the actor's birthday. However, they have postponed it because of War 2.

Mythri Movie Makers, the producer of the film, took to X to make an announcement about NTRNeel film's first look being postponed. They tweeted, "Respecting the WAR… Before unleashing the CARNAGE. For now, #WAR2 takes over the proceedings. We’ll arrive next at the perfect time to launch our MASS MISSILE - #NTRNeel Glimpse. Celebrate Man of Masses @Tarak9999 ’s birthday with #War2."

War 2 Release Date

While the release date of NTRNeel is not yet officially announced, War 2 is slated to release this year in August. So, of course, unveiling an asset of the YRF Spy Universe movie is more important right now. Also, it will mark Jr NTR's Bollywood debut.

Hrithik on Friday tweeted, "Hey @tarak9999 , think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready? #War2." Jr NTR replied and wrote, "Thank you in advance @iHrithik sir!!! Can’t wait to hunt you down to give you a special return gift Kabir…"

Fans of both actors are very keen to watch them on the big screens together.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 also stars Kiara Advani. It is slated to release on August 14, 2025. So, the makers are all set to start the promotions three months before the release. War was a super hit at the box office, so the expectations from War 2 are also quite high.
