Usha Nadkarni Gets Emotional As She Talks About Living Alone In Mumbai At 79: 'Darr Lagta Hai...' (VIDEO)
Ankita Lokhande celebrated 16 years in the industry by inviting Pavitra Rishta co-star Usha Nadkarni to her Mumbai home. In a YouTube video, 79-year-old Usha got emotional, revealing she lives alone. She said, "Darr lagta hai mein girungi, kisko malum nahi padega." They fondly remembered late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and cherished memories from their time on set.

Ankita Lokhande recently completed 16 years in the industry as an actress, which also marked 16 years since her television debut as Archana in her first show, Pavitra Rishta, where she starred alongside the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the role of Manav. Recently, Ankita invited Usha Nadkarni, who played her mother-in-law, Savita Deshmukh in Pavitra Rishta, to her home in Mumbai. The duo reminisced about their shooting days, fondly remembering Sushant and other cast members.
On Sunday, Ankita shared a video on her YouTube channel where Usha was seen getting emotional. She revealed that she lives alone in Mumbai at the age of 79 and expressed her vulnerability. "Ghar mein akeli hoon na, darr lagta hai mein girungi, kisko malum nahi padega. My brother passed away last year on June 30. If he had understood that I was going through something, he would have come running to me. Now, whom should I tell?," she was heard telling Ankita and her husband, Vicky Jain.

Further, Lokhande said, "Aai (Usha) bohot zyada strong hai, woh akeli rehti hai. Woh itne saalon se akeli rahi hai, mein bohot saalon se aai ko dekh rahi hoon."
Ankita was also remembered her ex-boyfriend Sushant and said, "Sushant itna acha actor tha. Woh mujhe bohot help karta tha kyuki jab mein sab actors ke samne jati thi, mujhe bohot darr lagne lagta tha ki mein kaise itne bade-bade scenes karu. Woh mujhe sikhata tha."
One of the third-longest-running Indian television series of Zee TV, Pavitra Rishta debuted in 2009 under Ektaa Kapoor’s banner. The cast also included Hiten Tejwani, Asha Negi, Shakti Arora, Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Veer Mehra. The series was adapted from the Tamil hit Thirumathi Selvam.
