Urvashi said she is not able to assess why people are criticising the choreography. During an interaction with The Hollywood Reporter India, Urvashi said Dabidi Dibidi caters to the mindset of NBK's fans.
"When you look at my rehearsal clips, everything went really well. It was like how we usually choreograph any song. I was working with Master Shekar, with whom I've collaborated before—this was my fourth time. So it wasn't as if I was shocked or doing something completely out of the ordinary. During rehearsals, everything was smooth and under control. But honestly, everything happened so suddenly that it's been hard to assess why people are talking about the choreography in this way," the actress said.
"Everything was done so nicely. As a team, we truly didn’t anticipate this reaction," Urvashi added and also mentioned that she doesn’t let constructive criticism overshadow her "passion and enthusiasm."
Dabidi Dibidi has been choreographed by Sekhar Master. The makers have not reacted to the criticism yet.
Featuring NBK and Urvashi, the high-energy track is composed by Thaman S and sung by Thaman and Vagdevi.
Daaku Maharaja also starred Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Chandhini Chowdary among others. Written and directed by Bobby Kolli and produced by Naga Vamsi S, the film released in theatres on January 12.
