'Treatment Wasn't Working': Vibhu Raghave's LAST Instagram Post Goes Viral After His Death, Actor Reveals Painful Struggle With Stage 4 Cancer
Television actor Vibhu Raghave passed away on June 2, 2025, after battling stage 4 colon cancer for three years. In his final Instagram post, he was heard talking about his painful cancer journey: "The treatment was not working, and the cancer was spreading." Vibhu was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2022.

Television actor Vibhu Raghave passed away on Monday night, June 2, 2025, after a three-year-long battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Diagnosed in 2022, the actor frequently shared updates about his treatment on Instagram. Now, his final Instagram post has gone viral, where Vibhu spoke candidly about his painful journey and the struggles he faced with the illness.
In the video shared on April 17, Vibhu was heard saying, "We started chemotherapy in January, and after four rounds, I went for a scan. Sadly, we found out the treatment was not working, and the cancer was spreading," said Vibhu. Further, Vibhu, keeping a happy face and a smile on, urged his fans to keep him in their prayers. "I want to request you to keep sending the love and wishes because that is something we are really counting on right now," the actor concluded.
Sharing the video, the actor had written, "A day at a time."

Earlier in 2022, Vibhu announced that he was diagnosed with cancer. He was heard saying, "I am in the hospital. I thought I'd let you know what's going on here. I was sick for the last few days and about two weeks back they found a stage 4 cancer in me which is in an advanced state, which is a rare type and kind of aggressive. I never expected that. In a day, life changed, totally upside down. Nevertheless, we are trying to be strong and we are going ahead with it."
His last rites will be performed at Jogeshwari crematorium today (June 3) at 1 pm.
