‘They Were The Ones Who Had Misunderstanding’, Rakesh Roshan On Hrithik Roshan-Sussanne Khan Divorce

Hrithik Roshan made his debut with Kaho Naa Pyar Hai in January 2000. He became the heartthrob of the nation, and of course, many girls started dreaming to have a life partner like him. But, in the same year, in December, Hrithik broke the heart of the girls and tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Sussanne Khan. They were the IT couple of the industry, but in 2014, we all got the shocking news that Hrithik and Sussanne have decided to part ways.

Even after the divorce Hrithik and Sussanne have been cordial with each other and co-parenting their kids Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Not just that, they even party together with their respective partners Saba Azad, and Arslan Goni.

Now, recently during an interaction with Yuvaa, Rakesh Roshan opened up about Hrithik and Sussanne’s divorce. He said, "Whatever has happened has happened between the couple, for me Sussanne is Sussanne. They were the ones who fell in love, they were the ones who had a misunderstanding, and they have to solve it. For us, she came to our house, and she is still a member of the house."

During the same interaction, the filmmaker revealed that he thinks his kids are scared of him a little. He said, "Hrithik and my daughter are a little scared of me. I don’t know, maybe because I am a well-disciplined man. I am not a short-tempered person, I am not a person who will scold anybody but I am very disciplined. When they were little, they wouldn’t talk to me openly, now they do. Now we are like friends at home."

Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, and Rajesh Roshan have been in the news as their documentary The Roshans premiered on Netflix a few days ago. It showcases the journey of three generations of the Roshan family, and also features celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Ameesha Patel, Asha Bhosle, and others.
