The Controversy
The controversy centers on a particular episode of India's Got Latent featuring YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as Beer Biceps. During the episode, he posed a provocative question to a contestant: "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?"
This remark was met with widespread backlash, leading to allegations of promoting obscenity and vulgar content.
In response to the public outcry, Ranveer issued a public apology, acknowledging his lapse in judgment and expressing regret for his comments. He stated that his attempt at humour was inappropriate and unfunny, conceding that comedy isn't his forte.
