‘Their Work Beautifully Showcases Our State’: Kartik Aaryan And Sreeleela Meet Sikkim’s Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang

Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are in Gantok shooting for their next film which is being directed by Anurag Basu. The film is reportedly titled Aashiqui 3, but the makers have not yet officially announced the title. Meanwhile, amid the shooting, Kartik, Sreeleela, and Anurag met Chief Minister Of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang, at his residence in Mintokgang.

The Chief Minister took to social media to share a picture with the team of the film, and he wrote, “It was a pleasure to meet Bollywood filmmaker Shri Anurag Basu and renowned actors Mr Kartik Aaryan and Ms. Sreeleela at my official residence, Mintokgang. They have been in the state for a week, shooting their upcoming film at iconic locations such as MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. Their work beautifully showcases our state’s stunning landscapes, rich culture, and unique architecture. We extend our best wishes to them.”

Kartik and Sreeleela’s film is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of the year. It is a romantic-musical, a genre that Kartik has not explored before, so his fans are super excited to watch him in the film. Even his long hair and beard look has grabbed everyone’s attention.

Recently, a video of Kartik from the sets had gone viral in which he was seen performing on the stage and later he starts hitting one of his co-actors. The untitled film has been making it to the headlines for many reasons. One of the reasons was its female lead. Earlier, Triptii Dimri was supposed to play the lead role, but she was replaced. There were reports that the makers decided to replace Triptii because of her bold image post Animal. However, Basu in an interview had denied the reports and claimed that Triptii made an exit from the film due to date issues.

The movie, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner, is slated to release on Diwali this year. It will clash with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Thama. While one is a romantic-musical, another film is a horror love story. So, let’s wait and watch which movie audience will prefer to watch at the box office on Diwali this year.
