'Take A Nice Chunky Glug': Vishal Dadlani Challenges Yogi Adityanath To Drink Maha Kumbh Water As Latter Rejects 'Faecal Bacteria' Report
Singer-music composer Vishal Dadlani challenged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday to drink water from the river at the Maha Kumbh Mela site in Prayagraj after the latter dismissed the report claiming the presence of "high levels of faecal contamination" in the Sangam water. "Take a nice chunky glug directly from the river on camera," the singer wrote.

Singer-music composer Vishal Dadlani challenged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday to take a "chunky glug" from the river at the Maha Kumbh Mela site in Prayagraj after a report claimed the presence of "high levels of faecal contamination" in the Sangam water.
The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on February 17, released a report which stated that high levels of faecal baceteria and total coliform were detected in the water near multiple Maha Kumbh locations. As the report caused a nationwide stir, Adityanath dismissed it and said on Wednesday that the Sangam's water was "fit for drinking".
Sharing a post of the Adityanath's statement on his Instagram stories, Vishal wrote, "Don't worry about the haters, Sir. We believe you. Please go ahead and take a nice chunky glug. directly from the river, on camera (sic)."
The singer also shared a video of another news report about the NGT report and added, "If you can't see millions of cases of dysentery, cholera, amoebiosis etc coming right up, you are clearly special. Please go ahead and dunk yourself and your family into sewage. More power to ya (sic)."
This is not the first time that Vishal has taken a jibe at the Maha Kumbh. On Wednesday, he shared a story on Instagram slamming the legal action and outrage against comedian Samay Raina and his show India's Got Latent. "The government wanted to control online content. They've been trying and getting stopped for a long time. Now, in this wave of TV-generated outrage, people are giving away their own freedom. Not to mention… 'what Kumbh stampede deaths?' Samjhe? (sic)."
For those unversed, Vishal appeared as a guest in one of the episodes of India's Got Latent which has now been deleted from Samay's YouTube channel.
