Suzhal: The Vortex is a Tamil-language crime thriller series which is created by Pushkar–Gayathri. The series stars Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role. Season 2 of the anticipated series is set to release on OTT in February 2025.

Plot

The series is set against the backdrop of the Ashtakaali festival and the story unfolds in the small fictional village of Kaalipattanam. It revolves around a well-known attorney and leading advocate who had backed Nandini's (Aishwarya Rajesh) defense, who is discovered dead. Sakkarai is summoned to support the grieving family. Amidst the vibrant sight of the magnificent Ashtakaali Festival in the delightful town of Kaalipattanam, the inquiry gradually exposes long-buried secrets that loom ominously over the current situation.
