Stree 2 Choreographer Jani Master Arrested In Goa In Sexual Assault Case By Ex-Colleague

Stree 2 choreographer Jani Master, aka Shaik Jani, was arrested by the Cyberabad Police in Goa on Thursday (September 19). He was accused of sexual harassment and threats by a 21-year-old ex-employee.
As per the reports, the minor victim filed a complaint with the Raidurgam police. A 'zero FIR' was registered, and later the case was transferred to the Narsingi police station due to jurisdictional reasons.
The POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act and other related legislation were invoked by the police during the investigation.
With the victim's testimony and evidence in hand, Jani was arrested. Police even launched a search for the Jani Master as he went missing after the charges were filed against him and was later apprehended in Bengaluru.
The minor victim had been working closely with Jani Master. She shared that she was harassed multiple times during shooting schedules in Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad and in her residence in Narsingi and was even threatened and manipulated.
He has been booked under several IPC sections, such as rape, criminal intimidation and voluntarily causing hurt to another human being. The DG Women Safety Wing (WSW) Telangana, Shikha Goel, has guaranteed a fair investigation in the case.

Jani Master's arrest has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. However, he is yet to make a statement about the case in public.
