Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan recently visited Pooja Bedi at her residence in Mumbai, and while at it, she narrated an incident from the sets of the 1992 film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, when the latter shot for a song wearing a thong. Farah claimed that the spot boy behind Pooja fainted on seeing her.

In the video, Farah told Pooja's daughter Alaya F that she is a much better dancer than her mother was. "I have spent many days with your mother. I tried a lot to teach some dance to your mother," she said.

Farah then went on to tease Pooja and ask Alaya, "You know about the story when she stood on the car and the spot boy standing behind fainted?"

Pooja took over and recalled how she had to stand on top of a car for the song, Pehla Nasha, in the film, and the spot boys stood behind her with fans facing towards her. "Every time they would put this fan under me, I was trying very hard to hold my dress down, kyuki uddegi vo. When I held it down again, everyone was laughing because it was down from the front but flying from back. And the spot boy who fainted was standing at the back. And I had a thong on," she quipped.

"That’s the first time I saw a thong, they were not very common those days," Farah added, leaving everyone in splits.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was a coming of age film starring Aamir Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and others, along with Pooja. Over the years, the film has achieved a cult status, and it was directed by Aamir's father, Mansoor Khan.
