Singer Vishal Mishra Vows To NEVER Perform In Turkey & Azerbaijan After Their Support To Pakistan Following Operation Sindoor
Renowned singer-composer Vishal Mishra has vowed never to perform in Turkey and Azerbaijan due to their support for Pakistan after India's Operation Sindoor. The operation, launched on May 7, targeted terror launch pads in Pakistan and PoK, retaliating for the April 22 Pahalgam attack. He expressed his stance on X, stating, "No leisure, no concerts!"

Renowned singer-composer Vishal Mishra, who is best known for his songs like Pehele Bhi Mein from Animal and Kaise Hua from Kabir Singh, has announced that he will no longer perform concerts in Turkey and Azerbaijan, citing their support for Pakistan following India's Operation Sindoor — a mission launched on May 7 targeting nine terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives.
On Friday (May 9), the singer took to his X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Never ever going to #Turkey and #Azerbaijan! No leisure no concerts! Mark My Words! Never!!"

Earlier, Mishra had stated that he doesn't care if more people unfollow him or hurl abuse at him and his family — he will continue to stand by his country. "No matter what Nation Above All & Everything!! #JaiHind," he wrote on his Instagram story.
Amid the India-Pakistan tensions, Vishal earlier tweeted, "It's been on my mind & honestly I don’t get it! How people with a certain following don’t express solidarity with the armed forces ! In these times all we should do is support the armed forces,support the nation and let the world know we are 'ONE'. Jai Hind."
While Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the operation was a provocative move, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the strikes.
