Sikandar LEAKED: Salman Khan's Film Falls Prey To Piracy Hours Before Theatrical Release, Makers Pull It Down From 600 Websites

In a major dent to the makers of the high-stakes film, Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, the actioner reportedly got leaked online on malicious websites hours before its theatrical release. Reports went viral on Saturday evening that the film got leaked and the makers swung to action, deleting the prints from around 600 websites.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta took to his X handle to share the news about the leak and condemned the act. "It’s the worst nightmare for any producer. A film is being leaked before its theatrical release. Unfortunately, that’s what happened last evening to Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Sikandar’, slated to release today in cinemas," he wrote.

He went on to say, "The producer had the authorities pull the film down from 600 sites last night, but the harm had been done. The multiplication continued and is continuing. Condemnable act which could cost the producer of the Salman starrer dear!"

Salman and the makers are yet to issue an official statement on the leak.

Fans of the superstar urged netizens to not share the leaked version online even if they receive it or come across it from any random source. Fans have also gotten into the task of reporting any leaked clip or stills from the film on social media and on YouTube.

Sikandar marks Salman's return to the silver screen after 1.5 years, and it is even more special as it is his first-ever collaboration with Ghajini director, AR Murugadoss. The film was shot extensively over a prolonged period despite threats to the actor's life, and it was release on March 30, Sunday, as an Eid gift from Salman to his fans.

However, the leak can now result in a massive loss for the makers and a huge dent in the box office collection can also be expected because of it.

Sikandar stars Rashmika as Salman's love interest, and it also has Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, and others in key roles.
