Sidharth Malhotra Visits Siddhivinayak Temple In Mumbai With Mother After Welcoming Baby Girl With Kiara Advani (VIDEO)

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra paid a quiet visit to the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on Sunday with his mother, days after welcoming his first child with Kiara Advani. The two welcomed their firstborn -- a baby girl -- on July 15, and this was the actor's first public appearance after embracing fatherhood.

In photos and videos that have surfaced online, Sidharth can be seen looking handsome in a blue kurta, accompanied by his mother. The two bowed their heads in front of Ganpati Bappa and prayed for the newborn. The also offered flowers and prasad, and the priest presented Sidharth with a shawl in return.

The mother-son duo avoided the paparazzi and made a quick exit from the temple, going back to their little one at home.

Sidharth and Kiara welcomed their baby girl on July 15 in Mumbai, 2.5 years after their marriage. tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in February 2023 after dating for several years, and their wedding video had become one of the most-liked posts on social media. In February 2025, they took everyone by surprise as they dropped a picture of two tiny knitted socks and announced that they were set to welcome their first child.

A day after the birth of their daughter, Sidharth and Kiara took to their social media and shared an official statement which read, "Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl!"

They later also requested the paparazzi to not click their child until the family allows it.

On the work front, Kiara will be next seen in her hottest-ever avatar in War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the lead. The film is slated to hit the silver screens during the Independence Day weekend. It has been directed by Ayan Mukerji.

On the other hand, Sidharth is gearing up for the release of his next, Param Sundari, a cross-cultural romance, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. The film will release in theatres in August.
