Actress-singer Shruti Haasan made a stylish appearance at Chennai's Chepauk Stadium on Friday evening (April 25) during the IPL 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Dressed casually yet chic, the actress was spotted cheering for CSK from the stands, and several pictures and videos of her enjoying the match quickly went viral on social media.
While many fans were delighted to see her show support for the home team, what caught netizens' attention was a video in which she is seen getting emotional and breaking down as CSK once again lost the match.
The match turned out to be a disappointment for her, as CSK suffered a crushing defeat, this time a five-wicket loss against SRH. Watching her favourite team lose, an emotional Shruti couldn't hold back her tears and broke down in the stadium.

Notably, veteran Tamil actor Ajith Kumar was also present at the stadium with his family to watch the match. His son was spotted wearing CSK jersey, showing his support for MS Dhoni's team as well.
Shruti and Ajith also met at the stadium and they even shared a hug. A video of the same has also surfaced on social media.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shruti is gearing up for her next big release, Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, where she will be seen sharing screen space with superstar Rajinikanth. The action thriller is set for a theatrical release later this year, with an official release date announcement expected soon.
She will also be seen in other Tamil films like Jana Nayagan and Train. The actress will also reprise her role in Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.
