Sardaar Ji 3 Box Office Collection: Diljit Dosanjh-Hania Aamir Starrer Becomes The Highest-Grossing Punjabi Film Of 2025, Despite Not Releasing In India

We all know that there was a lot of controversy surrounding the release of Diljit Dosanjh starrer Sardaarji 3 as it featured Pakistani actress Hania Aamir as the female lead. The makers decided not to release the film in India, and it was only released overseas. According to Sacnilk, the film in 10 days has collected Rs. 42.60 crore gross, and has become the highest-grossing Punjabi film, despite not releasing in India.

Earlier, Nimrat Khaira, Sargun Mehta, and Ammy Virk starrer Saunkan Saunkanay 2 was the highest-grossing Punjabi film of the year with a collection of around Rs. 35 crore gross worldwide. But now, Sardaarji 3 has beaten Saunkan Saunkanay 2.

The three big markets for the film have turned out to be North America, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom. Sardaarji 3 in North America collected Rs. 18.75 crore, in Pakistan it minted Rs. 7 crore (final figure yet to be known), and in the UK it collected Rs. 6.50 crore.

It is expected that the movie will easily surpass the Rs. 50 crore mark at the box office. We wonder if the film would have reached the Rs. 100 crore mark at the box office if it had been released in India.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Upcoming Movies

Diljit Dosanjh has Border 2 and No Entry 2 lined up. After the Sardaarji 3 controversy, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees had banned Diljit, but the ban was lifted because Bhushan Kumar, the producer of Border 2, requested them.

While talking to India Today, the president of FWICE, BN Tiwari, had said, "We have met Bhushan Kumar twice and he requested that since they have shot with Diljit’s portions in the film already, and they only have a song left to shoot with him. He said he is at a juncture where he can’t have Diljit leave the film, but in the future, he said that he won’t take anyone who is the middle of a dispute.”
