Ranbir Kapoor Was Hit 20-25 Times By Rashmika Mandanna During Karva Chauth Scene In Animal: Pranay Reddy Vanga Reveals

The debate surrounding Animal shows no signs of fading away anytime soon. Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reportedly working on an extended version for its OTT premiere. As a result, audiences and keen cultural observers can expect additional animated conversations and discussions in future dialogues.

Meanwhile, the internet has been abuzz with post-release interviews featuring Sandeep and his brother, producer Pranay Reddy Vanga, engaging with the media. In a recent conversation with I-Dream Media, Pranay addressed some of the significant concerns raised by critics regarding the film's portrayal and messaging in key scenes.

One of the many concerns in both Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh and Animal is the brief and seemingly inconsequential screen time given to female characters. When questioned about whether this is a deliberate decision by Sandeep, Pranay quickly comes to the filmmaker's defense and states, “I think Rashmika’s character Geetanjali is as important as RK (Ranbir Kapoor) and Bobby’s. I feel that her performance is right at par with her co-stars. I would count her act as one of my top three favourites from the film. But, no media outlet is pointing that out."

The director also reveals that Rashmika had to hit RK around 20-25 times during the crucial Karva Chauth scene to register the necessary impact.
