Rakhi Sawant defended Samay Raina amid his India's Got Latent controversy following YouTuber and entrepreneur Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps's, controversial remark, where he asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life or join in once to stop it forever?" The question sparked outrage on social media, leading to calls for a ban on the show and multiple police complaints being filed.
Amid the India's Got Latent controversy, Sawant questioned the lack of action against singer Udit Narayan, who was seen kissing his female fans on the lips during a live performance. She said to ETimes, "Udit Narayan kissed a female fan on the lips, but no one said anything about it. We see so many rape cases in our country, yet no one raises their voice. Women are being raped and molested, they are not safe, but still, no one shows outrage."

"No one has spoken against Udit Narayan for kissing his female fans. When Mika (Singh) kissed me in public, I dragged him to the police station and made him run to the police station for nearly two decades," added Rakhi.
She further stated that Samay is not the first person to use abusive language and claimed that many people on various shows openly talk about sex and genitals. Rakhi added, "Why is only one show being targeted? If they really want to save this country, then all such vulgar shows should be shut down."
Meanwhile, Rakhi had previously appeared on the panel of Samay Raina's India's Got Latent in Delhi last year.
India's Got Latent episode featuring Ranveer along with Apoorva Makhija among others, has been removed from YouTube.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned Allahbadia, Raina, and others over alleged derogatory remarks, with a hearing scheduled for February 17.
