Actress and model Shefali Jariwala passed away on Friday at the age of 42 at her residence in Mumbai due to cardiac arrest. Her sudden demise has left the entire entertainment industry in shock. In an emotional ceremony held on Sunday, her ashes were immersed at Juhu Beach in Mumbai. Family members, close friends, and well-wishers gathered to bid a tearful farewell. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, was seen breaking down in tears as he carried his late wife's ashes for the final rites.
In the viral video, Parag was seen coming out of the crematorium after receiving the ashes of Jariwala, whom he had cremated the previous afternoon at the Oshiwara crematorium, as per Hindu customs. With tears streaming down his face, he held the urn tightly to his chest and wept inconsolably.

On Saturday evening after performing her last rites, Parag, spoke briefly to the media. He urged everyone to pray for Shefali and requested sensitivity from the media.
"Please mazaak jhama mat banayega mai request karta hu bas.. Meri pari ke liye pray kijiyega aap sab log vo jahan bhi rahe khush rahe aur shanti see rahe (Please don't make fun of this situation. Please pray for my wife. I hope she is happy and at peace wherever she is)," he said emotionally, with folded hands.
According to police sources, Jariwala's death indicate that her sudden passing was likely due to medical reasons, with no signs of foul play.
Shefali had been undergoing anti-aging treatment for several years, and on the day of her demise, despite observing a fast for a religious ritual at home, she reportedly received her routine injection. This may have triggered the cardiac arrest that led to her death.
According to IANS, a source revealed that between 10 and 11 p.m. that evening, Shefali's health reportedly deteriorated rapidly, her body began trembling, and she lost consciousness. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
As part of the investigation, authorities have seized a variety of medications from Jariwala’s residence, including anti-aging vials, vitamin supplements, and pills prescribed for gastric care.
