Ozzy Osbourne's death

According to media reports, Ozzy breathed his last on Tuesday after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

In an official statement, his family mentioned, "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

"Just two weeks ago, Ozzy performed at what was billed as Black Sabbath's final concert, a festival titled Back to the Beginning, held in Birmingham, England, the hometown of both Ozzy and the band. The event served as a grand tribute to the legendary group, featuring performances and tributes from Metallica, Guns N Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Alice in Chains, and more.

In January 2020, following two years of escalating health problems, Osbourne announced that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. In February 2023, he issued a statement saying that he was retiring from touring, citing spinal injuries he had sustained in a 2018 accident.

Known for his distinctive voice and wild stage persona, Ozzy shaped the sound of metal music for generations. His solo career was equally iconic, producing hits like Crazy Train. Beyond music, he became a pop culture figure through reality TV. His legacy will remain immortal in rock history.
