Operation Sindoor: Kamal Haasan Says 'India Comes First', Postpones Thug Life Audio Launch
The movie, produced by his banner Rajkamal Films International, is being helmed by acclaimed director Mani Ratnam of Bombay and Roja fame.

Chennai: With Indian soldiers in action as part of Operation Sindoor, veteran Tamil film actor and politician Kamal Haasan on Friday announced that he was postponing the audio launch of his much-awaited film Thug Life. The movie, produced by his banner Rajkamal Films International, is being helmed by acclaimed director Mani Ratnam of Bombay and Roja fame.
The audio launch was scheduled for May 16 in Chennai.
“Art can wait. India comes first,” said Kamal Haasan in a statement.
“In view of the developments at our nation’s borders and the current state of heightened alert, we have decided to reschedule the audio launch. As our soldiers stand firm on the frontlines with unflinching courage in defence of our motherland, I believe it is a time for quiet solidarity, not celebration,” he added.
