'Never Felt So Unsafe': Pooja Bhatt REACTS To Attack On Saif Ali Khan, Demands More Police Presence In Bandra
Actress Pooja Bhatt called out the "lawlessness" in Mumbai after actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Bandra residence in the wee hours of Tuesday. "We need more Police presence in Bandra. The city & especially the queen of the suburbs, have never felt so unsafe before (sic)," she wrote.

Mumbaikars woke up to a shocking news on Tuesday as Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his posh residence in Bandra during a robbery bid. Actress Pooja Bhatt later took to her social media handle to call out the 'lawlessness' in the city and demanded more action and alertness by the Mumbai Police.
Pooja took to her X handle on Tuesday morning, and reacted to the news about attack on Saif. "Can this lawlessness please be curbed @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice We need more Police presence in Bandra. The city & especially the queen of the suburbs, have never felt so unsafe before (sic)," she wrote.
She also tagged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar and Ashish Shelar and demanded their attention.

Saif was attacked at his residence, located in the upscale Satguru Sharan building in Bandra, around 2:30 am on Tuesday when an unidentified man broke into his apartment and got into a scuffle with the actor when the latter tried to stop him. Saif was reportedly stabbed multiple times by the intruder and he has sustained six injuries, two of which are deep. He has also sustained an injury close to his spine, doctors said.
The actor is currently undergoing surgery at Lilavati Hospital. He is being operated upon by team of doctors led by neurosurgeon Dr Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr Leena Jain, and anesthesiologist Dr Nisha Gandhi.

Post the incident, Saif's team issued an official statement which read, "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing a surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation."
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police has formed seven teams to investigate the matter, as per India Today. No arrests have been made so far, and the cops are now questioning the staff present at the actor's house during the attack.
