In the promo shared by the makers, Rajat can be seen buried in his mother's lap and breaking down, stating how his past keeps haunting him despite him trying to change his ways. "Mujhe purani cheeze khaati rehti hai. Aarop, aarop, gaadi se uda diya...kab tak insaan khudko saabit karega," an emotional Rajat can be heard telling his mother in the promo.
As both the mother and son cried, he continued, "Aadmi hoon, majboot hoon, par iska matlab ye thodi hai ki farak he nahi padta. Naam kharab hota hai, nahi jhela jaata."
The video left his fans emotional and they rooted for him as he has now only weeks away from the grand finale of Bigg Boss 18.
For those unversed, Rajat was arrested in June 2024 for kidnapping and assaulting an 18-year-old in Ahmedabad. He, along with his friends, tortured the youth for a day and reports claimed that he also urinated on the boy's face. When the family of the victim eventually lodged a police complaint, Rajat was arrested and lodged in Sabarmati jail before being released on bail.
In another incident, Rajat was caught on camera hitting a biker and knocking him down with his speeding car on a busy highway in Delhi-NCR in August 2024.
