'Meet Perverted Creators..': Neelesh Misra Slams Ranveer Allahbadia's Inappropriate Question On Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent
Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, appeared on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent and faced backlash for asking a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have s*x for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?" Journalist Neelesh Misra shared the clip, criticising creators and writing, "Meet the perverted creators shaping our country’s creative economy."

Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, appeared in a recent episode of comedian Samay Raina's India's Got Latent alongside YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, content creator Apoorva Mukhija, better known as The Rebel Kid, and others. However, he is now facing criticism for his inappropriate questions and comments on the show.
Ranveer faced backlash on social media after he was heard asking a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life — or would you join in once and stop it forever?"
Journalist and author Neelesh Misra shared a clip of Ranveer on his X handle, and wrote, "Meet the perverted creators who are shaping our country’s creative economy. I am sure each one has a following of millions. This content is not designated as adult content — it can be seen with ease even by a child if the algorithm takes him or her there. The creators or the platform have zero sense of responsibility. I am also not surprised at all that four people at the desk — and lots in the audience — celebrated this and had a great laugh."

"You, the audience, normalised and celebrated this and people like these. Decency is not incentivised in India — by platforms or audiences — and creators are stooping lower and lower for audience reach and revenue. Banal, crass, insensitive are words only for boring uncool people. These creators can say anything in the name of freedom of speech and get away with it. Again, meet the creators who are shaping our country’s creative economy," added Neelesh.
While some users on X questioned him for his "vulgarity," others pointed out that PM Narendra Modi had awarded Ranveer the Disruptor of the Year title at the National Creators Award in Bharat Mandapam, Delhi in 2024.
Take a look at the reactions:
Ranveer Allahbadia is yet to respond to the backlash.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is known for his spirituality and often shares insights about his spiritual journey on his podcasts. This contrast made his question seem even more inappropriate to netizens, as it appeared contradictory to his image.
India's Got Latent is a talent show hosted by Samay Raina on YouTube and serves as a parody of the popular reality show India's Got Talent. Samay and guest judges humorously comment on the "latent" talents of aspiring performers.
