Television actor Kushal Tandon revealed that a female fan entered his Mumbai home without permission while he was away. On Saturday, he issued a statement expressing gratitude for the love he receives, but also urged fans to respect his personal space and privacy. Days later, Kushal opened up about the shocking incident, sharing that the fan had been 'comfortable' chatting with his parents after pretending to be his friend to gain entry into the house.

Speaking to ETimes, Kushal said that his fan had told the building's security guard she was his friend, and since the intercom system hadn't been working for the past two days, the guard let her in. Once she reached his door, she told his house staff that she was there to meet his mother. He added, "My mom, thinking she was someone I knew, let her in and even welcomed her warmly."

However, later, Kushal's mother called him after sensing that something was off. He rushed back immediately and asked his female fan to leave his home. Kushal said that she asked him for a glass of water and questioned why he hadn't been replying to her messages on Instagram.

"She had been messaging me for the past three years, carrying on a one-sided conversation as if we were in touch. The day she came to my house, she had even sent me a picture of my building, saying she would be meeting me today and that nothing in the world could stop it," added the actor.

Kushal called the incident 'scary,' admitting that he kept wondering what would have happened if he had been living alone. He also shared that it was a serious threat to his parents’ safety, as they treated the fan like a friend, completely unaware that she had been lying.

"What if she had a darker intention? Fans make us who we are, but invading someone’s private space like this is simply unacceptable," concluded Kushal.
