King Release Date: Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone Starrer Might Hit The Big Screens On THIS Major Holiday Next Year
The shooting of Shah Rukh Khan starrer King reportedly started on Wednesday in Mumbai's Mehboob Studios. Now, according to a report, the makers are planning to release the movie on Gandhi Jayanti next year. While there's no confirmation about it, we are sure fans of SRK, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, and other actors in King are already excited about the movie.

Siddharth Anand's King starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role is undoubtedly one of the most awaited upcoming films. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma. Reportedly, the shooting of the film has started today in Mehboob Studios, and according to a report in Peeping Moon, the makers have decided to release the film on Gandhi Jayanti next year.
A source told the portal, “This date aligns perfectly for a grand Bollywood spectacle like King. Falling on a Friday and coinciding with a national holiday, this date positions the film for a strong box office opening."
"Following SRK's record-breaking 2023, there are high expectations that the actor will deliver yet another 500-crore blockbuster, and this holiday release will only accelerate its path to that milestone," the source added.
King Cast
The cast of the King has been making it to headlines for the past few months. SRK, Rani, Deepika, Anil, Suhana, Jackie, Abhishek, Arshad, Jaideep, and Abhay; well, just the star cast is enough for the audience to reach the theatre and watch the film.
However, there are a lot of expectations from King as SRK and Siddharth Anand are teaming up after Pathaan which was a blockbuster at the box office. Also, fans are happy for Rani and Shah Rukh Khan's reunion after a long gap. Reportedly, the actress has an extended cameo in the film, but her storyline is the heart of King.
