Kareena Kapoor's Car Was 'Attacked' Soon After Saif Ali Khan's Stabbing Incident, She Got Scared, Reveals Ronit Roy

Bollywood actor Ronit Roy has revealed that Kareena Kapoor Khan's car was "attacked" shortly after her actor-husband, Saif Ali Khan, was stabbed at their Mumbai residence in the wee hours of January 16. While the incident involving Kareena wasn't serious, it left the actress shaken.

In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Ronit, whose security agency was hired by Saif and Kareena for protection, shared details about the sequence of events following the attack on the actor.

"Saif was returning home after being discharged from the hospital. There was a huge crowd and media everywhere. When Kareena was also heading back home from the hospital, her car was slightly attacked. So she got scared," Ronit recalled.

He further added, "Since there was media around, people also got too close, and her car was shaken a bit. That’s when she asked me to bring Saif home. So I went to pick him up, and once he reached home, our security was already placed, and we also had strong support from the police force. Now, everything is fine."

Ronit also stated during the interview that he did a recce at Kareena and Saif's Bandra home post the attack on the actor and he found out that security measures were not in place. He also revealed advising them about what needs to be kept in mind for one's safety at home after which they increased the security arrangements.

Attack on Saif Ali Khan

On January 16, Saif was attacked in an attempted robbery at his Bandra residence. He was stabbed multiple times by the intruder when the actor tried to protect his youngest son Jeh.

While the intruder managed to flee, Saif rushed himself to the Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent a surgery. A 2.5-inch piece of the blade was removed from his spine after a five-hour-long operation. After a massive manhunt, the intruder was eventually nabbed by the Mumbai Police.

However, the incident has left the family scarred, and Kareena has also requested the paparazzi to not follow her kids Taimur and Jeh around and click them.
