Talking about the slap incident, it happened on June 6 when the actress was travelling to New Delhi, during which she was slapped by an on-duty female CISF constable, Kulwinder Kaur, at the Chandigarh Airport after she won the Mandi constituency.
Reportedly, Kaur was upset with Ranaut over her stance on the farmers' protests. "Kangana made a statement that farmers were protesting in Delhi because they were paid ₹100 or ₹200. At the time, my mother was one of the protesters," Kulwinder was heard saying in the video.
After the slap incident, Kulwinder was suspended.
Kangana shared a video on X and revealed that she is 'safe.' "I am safe. I am perfectly fine. The incident happened at the security check-in. The woman guard waited for me to cross. She then came from the side and hit me. She started throwing expletives. I asked why she hit me. She said 'I support farmers'. I am safe, but my concern is terrorism is rising in Punjab. How do we handle that?" Ms Ranaut said.
