Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to present his upcoming film Sikandar to his fans this Eid, and one of the highlights of the film is the actor’s pairing with actress Rashmika Mandanna. As the teaser and songs were released, netizens slammed the 31-year age difference between the two, but Salman decided to end the chatter once and for all during the trailer launch event of the film on Sunday.
During the trailer launch of Sikandar, Salman stated that the audience had no right to complain if the actress was okay with the age gap. “Social media wale log aaj kal peeche pad jaate hai. Now they are saying that there is a 31 year difference between the heroine and me. Arey jab heroine ko problem nahi hai, heroine ke father ko problem nahi hai, toh tumko kyu problem hai bhai?” he stated.
“Tomorrow when she gets married and has kids and becomes a big star, even then she will continue to work right?” he added, and was met with cheers and applause.
