Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, is undoubtedly one of the most awaited upcoming movies. On July 3, 2025, the first glimpse of the movie was released, and it has made fans eager to watch Ramayana on the big screens. In the first glimpse, the makers have revealed that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will portray the character of Sita, Yash will play the role of Raavana, Sunny Deol plays the character of Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey will be seen as Lakshman.
Well, the movie also stars many other actors in prominent roles, and there were reports that Bobby Deol will be seen as Kumbhakarna in the movie. However, a source has told Bollywood Hungama, that the Animal actor is not a part of the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.
A source told the portal, “The reports are inaccurate. His name just cropped up all of a sudden.”
"Ramayana is one of the most anticipated upcoming films of 2026. Given the scale of the project, casting speculations have been rife, but it is important to separate facts from rumours.
