The IPL 2025 finals took place on Tuesday between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings. RCB won the match, and of course, everyone was celebrating, as for the first time in 18 years, the team won the IPL trophy. Amid this, Salman Khan’s 2014 tweet went viral in which he had asked netizens, “Zinta’s team won kya?” Well, unfortunately, Preity Zinta’s team, PBKS, didn’t win this time either, and now, netizens are hilariously reacting to Salman's old tweet.

A netizen replied, “Anushka’s team won bhai.” Another X user wrote, “Sallu Bhai Ka Shrap Laga Zinta Ko. Sallu Bhai Ne Zinta Ko Harane Ke Liye Hanuman Chalisa Padha Aur Mala Jaap Kiya 101 Baar (sic).”

In 2014, when Salman had done this tweet, it was Zinta’s Punjab Kings vs Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders, and the latter had won the trophy. While this year, after 18 years, RCB won the IPL trophy, PBKS has not won the IPL even once. So, let’s hope that maybe next year, PBKS will win the IPL trophy.
