'I'll Lose My Honour At Home': Naga Chaitanya Asks Fans From Sobhita Dhulipala's Hometown Vizag To Make Thandel A Hit (VIDEO)
Naga Chaitanya launched the trailer of his upcoming film Thandel at his wife Sobhita Dhulipala's hometown in Vizag on January 28th. During the event, he requested fans from his Sobhita's hometown to make the film a box office hit, joking, "Otherwise, I’ll lose my honour at home." The couple married on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

Naga Chaitanya launched the trailer of his upcoming Telugu action thriller film Thandel at Shri Rama Picture Palace, a movie theater in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, Janaury 28th. During the event, he requested fans from Vizag, his wife and actress Sobhita Dhulipala's hometown, to make the film a hit at the box office.
Chaitanya said, "Vizag is so close to my heart that I fell in love with a Vizag girl and married her. Now, there’s a piece of Vizag in my home too. Even in my household, the ruling party is Vizag. So, brothers, I have a small request—Thandel should rock Vizag’s box office; otherwise, I’ll lose my honour at home. Please!"

About Thandel
Thandel also stars Sai Pallavi in the lead and is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The film is set to release theatrically on February 7, 2025, ahead of Valentine's Week. Reportedly, the film is inspired by real-life events that took place in the village of D Matchilesam in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.
Thandel marks the second collaboration between Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi after Love Story.
