'If Tiger Comes Back...': Vaani Kapoor Opens Up About Not Being A Part Of Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR Starrer War 2

Vaani Kapoor played the female lead in War, which was released in 2019. Though she had a small role in the film, the actress had left a mark. Now, in War 2, while Hrithik Roshan returns, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani have joined the franchise. The first instalment also featured Tiger Shroff, and both Tiger and Vaani's characters died in the movie. Recently in an interview with Siddarth Kannan, Vaani spoke about not being a part of War 2.

The actress said, “Me, Sid (director Sidharth Anand), and Tiger are all not there in the sequel. Tiger and I both passed away in War. So I said, if Tiger comes back, I’m coming back too, my friend!”

Further talking about War 2, Vaani said, “I wish them the best. I feel incredibly grateful that I at least got the opportunity to be a part of a film like War, the OG War. It is looking beautiful. It is cinematic. It is larger than life. Kudos to the team.”

Vaani Kapoor Upcoming Movies

Vaani will next be seen in Netflix's Mandala Murders, which is all set to premiere on the OTT platform on July 25, 2025. The OTT series is produced by YRF.

Apart from Mandala Murders, Vaani has movies like Sarvagunn Sampanna, Abir Gulal, and Badtameez Gill lined up. Abir Gulal, which also stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, was slated to release on May 9, 2025. However, the movie was not released as it faced backlash for having a Pakistani actor in it.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited trailer of War 2 is all set to be released on Friday, July 25, 2025. Fans of Hrithik, Jr NTR, and Kiara have been eagerly waiting for it, and even before the trailer is released, an AI trailer of War 2 has made it to social media, and it has gone viral.
