'I Celebrated My Birthday 2 Years Ago In Pahalgam': Vijay Deverakonda Recollects Shooting For A Film In Kashmir, Condemns Terrorist Attack
Vijay Deverakonda, who had shot for a film in Pahalgam, Kashmir, two years ago, took to social media to condemn the terrorist attack. He wrote, "I celebrated my birthday 2 years ago in Pahalgam, amidst shooting a film, amidst laughter, amidst my local Kashmiri friends who took the greatest care of us."

Many Indian movies have been shot in multiple locations of Kashmir, including Pahalgam. Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha starrer Telugu film, Kushi, was also shot in Pahalgam. Vijay took to social media to condemn the terrorist attack, and he recollected that two years ago, while shooting for a film, he celebrated his birthday in Pahalgam, and locals took the greatest care of the team.
Vijay wrote, "I celebrated my birthday 2 years ago in Pahalgam, amidst shooting a film, amidst laughter, amidst my local Kashmiri friends who took the greatest care of us.."
Vijay Deverakonda Condemns Terrorist Attack In Pahalgam
The actor further wrote, "What happened yesterday is heartbreaking and infuriating - calling yourself a Force and shooting tourists is the most shameful embarrassing and cowardly act of dumb terrorism hiding behind guns. We stand with the victims and their families. We stand with Kashmir. And i hope these cowards are cleaned out. Swiftly. India will never bow to terror."
Allu Arjun, Kamal Haasan And More South Celebs Condemn The Attack
Pushpa actor Allu Arjun posted, "Soo heart broken by #Pahalgam Attack . Such a beautiful place with kind hearted people . Condolences to all the families, near and dear of the victims. May their innocent souls rest in peace . Truly Heart breaking."
Thug Life star Kamal Haasan wrote, "I strongly condemn the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam. My thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones, and I wish strength and recovery to the injured. India stands united — in grief, in resolve, and in our commitment to uphold law, order, and national security."
