Varun currently has multiple films lined up like Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, and Border 2. Well, he has not revealed in the post that during which film's shoot his finger got injured. However, we wonder if it was during the shooting of Hai Jaawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai as he recently wrapped up the first schedule of the movie.

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is being directed by Varun's father, David Dhawan, and it stars Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur as the female leads. A few days ago, Varun and Pooja performed Aarti in Rishikesh before starting the shoot. It was quite a small schedule in Rishikesh.

Varun Dhawan's Upcoming Movies

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, and Sanya Malhotra, is slated to release in September this year; and Hai Jaawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will hit the big screens in October. So, within a month, Varun will be having two releases.

Meanwhile, Border 2, which also stars Sunny Deol and Diljit Dosanj, is slated to release on January 23, 2026. Varun also has Bhediya 2 lined up which is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 14, 2026. However, the movie is yet to go on the floors.

Varun was last seen on the big screens in Baby John which failed to make a mark at the box office. So, his fans have high expectations from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari as the film gets the actor back to the rom-com genre.
