Hidden Love C-Drama Star Zhao Lusi Rushed To Hospital Amid Reports Of Depression, Viral Video Shows Her Slumped In Wheelchair

Chinese actress Zhao Lusi, who became a global sensation with the drama, Hidden Love, was rushed to a hospital in Shanghai on December 18 after her health deteriorated gravely. Reports of the actress battling depression and exhaustion had been doing the rounds for quite some time, and her hospitalisation has now left her fans immensely concerned.

A video of Lusi being wheeled inside a hospital has now gone viral on the internet. In the video, she can be seen slumped in a wheelchair with her face covered with a mask and a cap, and the actress looked visibly weak.

As per reports, the 26-year-old actress was shooting for her upcoming project when she felt unwell and had to be rushed to the hospital. A Dimum Daily report quoted witnesses at the hospital who said that Lusi appeared weak and unsteady, and her legs were trembling as she was brought to the hospital.

Reports also mentioned that the actress might be suffering from severe depression or other neurological disorders. She has now suspended all her professional commitments until further notice.

While Lusi's social media handles have suddenly gone inactive, a friend of hers informed her fans on December 28 that the actress was recuperating at the hospital. "To all those who are concerned about Lusi, she directed me to let everyone know that she is safe now. To be honest, from her birthday (November 9), I noticed something was wrong with her. Then she joined the crew and then this happened on the 18th. Now she's just starting to talk slowly and getting up slowly for rehab," the friend, identified as Wei Xiao, wrote.

Lusi's team has informed her fans to give her space to heal and mentioned that she was doing well now, however, they have not provided specific details regarding her condition yet.
