Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Animal, which stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, among others. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it is slated to hit cinemas in December 2023.
Recently, the actor interacted with his fans via Zoom, during which a fan asked him if there were any possibilities of his film Tamasha's reunion. It was released in 2015 and featured Deepika Padukone in the lead.
He said that he thinks it is a good idea. "I should bring it up. Unfortunately, what happened was that Imtiaz (Ali) and I were so close because we were working so much with each other. Then what happens is that we go on different projects, and then those people become your circle of friends, and you start working a lot with them. So, I’ve really been out of touch with Imtiaz.”
Further, Ranbir said that when Tamasha was released, it did not perform well commercially; however, over the years, the film has influenced the lives of the audience and inspired them to pursue their aspirations.
“The impact of Tamasha is much greater than we all imagined,” said Ranbir. Lastly, he said that he would love to reunite with Team Tamasha and also hopes that the entire team, including Deepika and Imtiaz, will do this interview together next time.
