'He Is Full Of Himself': Gulshan Devaiah On Anurag Kashyap Pursuing Acting, Says 'He's Taking Our Jobs'
Gulshan Devaiah, who starred alongside filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in Bad Cop, recently called him 'full of himself.' During a Reddit AMA, Devaiah shared his thoughts on Kashyap's acting pursuits and his experience working on That Girl In Yellow Boots, saying, "He's so full of himself... but he's cute and trusts his actors. Now he's taking our jobs!"

Actor Gulshan Devaiah, who has acted with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in the crime thriller series Bad Cop, recently called him 'full of himself.' The actor was also a part of Kashyap's 2010 directorial That Girl In Yellow Boots, which starred his ex-wife Kalki Koechlin, where he played the role of Chittiappa. Further, he also reacted to Anurag pursuing acting.
On Reddit, during an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, a user asked him about his experience of working with Anurag on That Girl In Yellow Boots. To this, Gulshan replied, "He's so full of himself...but he is cute and he trusts his actors. It was wonderful to work with him as an actor, But he is still full of himself and NOW HE IS TAKING OUR JOBS."

While another user questioned him about the current trend of films being re-released ahead of his film Hunterrr's re-release, he was asked if it gives the industry the privilege to be lazy and avoid bringing out new stories. In response, he agreed, noting that the industry tends to overdo trends, remakes, or re-releases.
"I completely support your idea that we need newer and original content. But, the world does not work the way we want it to, it never has, it never will. Sometimes we adjust, sometimes we push the boundaries. We just have to try and do our best with what we have," wrote Gulshan.
