Renowned yoga practitioner Ramdev Baba has reacted to the sudden death of model-actress Shefali Jariwala at the age of 42 and said it was important for a human to be strong from the inside. Shefali passed away on June 27 and an investigation to ascertain her cause of her death is underway by Mumbai Police.
Anti-ageing medicines, skin glow tablets and vitamin supplements were found at her apartment and this sparked a debate on social media. Soon after reports of Shefali's death surfaced last week, it was also claimed that she suffered a heart attack. Her post-mortem reports are awaited.
Amid the debate, Ramdev Baba gave a hardware-software analogy when asked about Shefali's death. He reportedly told NDTV, "The hardware was fine, the software was faulty. The symptoms were fine, the system was faulty."
"There is a difference in this superficial appearance. Appearing to be one and being one are different," he added.
During the conversation, he also opened up about the importance of good dietary habits, and how they could increase a person's lifespan. Reportedly, he mentioned that a normal human lifespan was 150-200 years and not 100 years, however, he claimed that humans have put a lot of pressure on their brains, hearts, eyes and liver. He also stated that food meant to be eaten over 100 years is being consumed by humans in only 25 years.
"You do not know how to operate yourself. If you keep doing well, then it is true that you will not grow old for 100 years," he further said.
