'Had Miraculous Escape': Sonu Sood Gives Health Update After Wife Sonali Meets With Horrifying Car Accident

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood's wife Sonali Sood and their nephew met with a major car accident on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway on Monday. Sharing an update on her health, Sood told ANI on Tuesday, "She's doing fine now. Had a miraculous escape. Om Sai Ram." They are currently undergoing treatment at a Nagpur hospital.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood's wife Sonali Sood and their nephew met with a major car accident on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway on Monday. The actor has now shared an update on their health and assured fans that they were doing fine.

Sonu told ANI, "She's doing fine now. Had a miraculous escape. Om Sai Ram."

Sonali is reportedly undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nagpur, and the actor has rushed to her side. She will be kept under observation for the next 48-72 hours.

As per reports, Sonali was accompanied by her sister's son and another woman when their car rammed into a truck on Monday on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway. Visuals from the site of accident show the car in a completely wrecked and damaged condition.

Sonali often stayed away from the limelight, but it was during the promotions of Fateh that she grabbed eyeballs. She also produced the film, which starred Sonu and Jacqueline Fernandez.

While Sonu is always out in the open engaging in humanitarian work, he has made sure to keep his personal life guarded and under the wraps. In December 2024, he shared a rare photo with Sonali, wishing her on her birthday.

"No matter what life throws our way, I know I can get through it with you. No one knows me like you, and no one ever will. Wishing the world’s best wife, a wonderful birthday. You deserve everything your heart desires. Happy birthday my rock (sic)," he wrote.

Sonu and Sonali got married in 1996, and the two are proud parents to sons, Ayaan and Ishant.
