The 82nd Golden Globe Awards was held at Beverly Hills, California, on Monday morning (IST), and was hosted by Nikki Glaser. As the prestigious night came to a close, Emilia Perez took home some of the major awards, including the Best Picture (Non English) award.

And while doing so, it defeated India's entry, All We Imagine As Light, helmed by Payal Kapadia. Starring Chhaya Kadam, Kani Kusruti and Divya Prabha, the film fell short in the Best Non-English film category.
