'Gairon Ke Bistar Pe...': Dhanashree Verma Drops New Song On Infidelity, Abuse Hours Before Divorce With Yuzvendra Chahal In Mumbai

Team India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer-actress Dhanashree Verma got officially divorced on Thursday (March 20). And hours before the final verdict, the latter dropped her new music video, laced with themes of infidelity and abuse in what seems to be a happy marriage from the outside.

Titled Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, the song shows Dhanashree's husband cheating on her with another woman. At one point, the husband also slaps Dhanashree after he sees her casually exchanging pleasantries with another man, and later, seeking forgiveness for his actions. The song ends with Dhanashree finally breaking all ties and walking away from her cheater and abusive husband and out of the toxic marriage.

The song grabbed eyeballs, more so because of its timing, as it was released by the makers merely a few hours before Dhanashree reached court for her divorce verdict with Chahal.

Dhanashree and Chahal got married in a dreamy ceremony in December 2020, however, as per reports, they had been living separately since June 2022. Even as they shared photos and videos together, it was in December 2024 that reports of their impending divorce first surfaced online.

Around the same time, Chahal was spotted with RJ Mahvash at a hotel, and their bond grabbed eyeballs, with people wondering if there was more than just friendship between the two. While Mahvash clarified that she was not dating Chahal, she was once again spotted with him in Dubai, enjoying the Champions Trophy finale at the stadium.

After their visuals from the stadium went viral, Dhanashree had shared a cryptic note on Instagram that read, "Blaming women is always in fashion".

Even hours before his divorce hearing, Chahal was spotted hanging out with Mahvash at a park in Mumbai's Andheri suburbs.
