Fan Slits Finger, Applies 'Blood Tilak' On Jr NTR's Poster As War 2 Releases; Graphic Video Goes Viral

Fans went into mass celebration mode as War 2 released in theatres on Thursday, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. But the celebration went overboard after a fan of Jr NTR was seen slitting his finger and applying tilak on a poster of the actor with his own blood.

In a graphic video which has now gone viral, the man can be seen slicing his finger with blade and as blood oozed out of his slit finger, he applied it on a poster of Jr NTR. While the exact location of the video could not be confirmed, the video shows hundreds of fans gathered at a spot, hooting and dancing to celebrate the release of War 2.

Some also blew fire guns and burst crackers around, while others threw confetti and danced to Jr NTR's songs.

Netizens were left aghast as the 'blood tilak' video went viral, and while some called it madness, others said that the youth can go to any extent to get famous online.

Meanwhile, War 2 has opened with mixed reviews in theatres. While some found the first half of the film boring, others called the film even better than the original War (2019). One of the most talked about scenes from the film is the one which shows an intense face off between Hrithik and Jr NTR.

War 2 also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead, and she has been grabbing eyeballs ever since the first look of the film was dropped online, showing the actress flaunting her toned body in a skimpy bikini for the first time on the big screen.

The film has been directed by Ayan Mukerji, and is a part of the coveted YRF Spy Universe, which also has films like Pathaan, Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and others under it.
