Excited Venkatesh Daggubati Has Fan Boy Moments With Legends Viv Richards And David Beckham At Ind VS NZ Semi-Final, Selfies Win Hearts

Veteran superstar and Rana Naidu actor Venkatesh Daggubati, like Rajinikanth, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, John Abraham, Shahid Kapoor and Kunal Khemu, was one among the many eminent celebrities who were present at the much-exciting semi-final face off between India and New Zealand.

Being played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the match also witnessed the presence of cricket and sports legends in attendance including Sachin Tendulkar and international footballer David Beckham.

But Venky Mama as his fans affectionately call him was in for a sweet surprise, as the actor got an opportunity to watch the match with the legendary Vivian aka Viv Richards, giving him his august company.

Tweeting an image of himself seated, next to Richards, an ecstatic Venky shared, "Delighted to be with the legendary Viv Richards at the #IndvsNZ Semi-final"

In the picture, the Rana Naidu actor is seen wearing a black shirt paired with a maroon suede jacket while Richards is seen sporting a white polo neck tee.

In the past, the two gentlemen have met on numerous instances during Richards' past visits to India. Venky has always maintained himself to be a huge fan of the Antiguan cricketer.

Venky also met football great David Beckham, who was down in Mumbai to watch the match as well. Sharing an image, the actor wrote, "Only the greatest company for this great innings."

Meanwhile, Venkatesh was last seen in the Netflix series Rana Naidu with his nephew Rana Daggubati. He was also seen essaying a prominent role in Salman Khan-Pooja Hegde starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

Recently, the actor's younger daughter Havya Vahini got engaged to a doctor. He was also seen in attendance at the much-discussed Diwali bash hosted by the Konidela clan.

He will be next in Saindhav directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, Sara, and Jayaprakash.
